Louise Erdrich

I'm waaaaay behind with Louise Erdrich's novels.

I've read Love Medicine several times. I've read The Beet Queen and The Blue Jay's Dance and The Bingo Palace and The Master Butcher's Singing Club and The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No-Horse.

I really ought to check out some of the later novels but I want to re-read an old favourite, The Beet Queen.

Ms Lehmann is on hold.

Doesn't sound like you're behind on Louise Erdich's novels at all! I've actually never read one. Which would you recommend to start? K x

I read The Beet Queen ages ago and really liked it.

fff, many of them are recommended by fellow bloggers and reading forums.

Kristina, I'd say The Beet Queen. Love Medicine is probably the novel she is most famous for, but I need to draw a family tree every time I read it to keep track of everyone!

callmemadam, I'd like to read some of Erdrich's poetry, too. She's quite prolifc so it's a job to keep up.
